About Portray Photo

Nashville Photographer Ashley Goins

Portray Photo :: Naturally capturing the beauty in everyday life.

I have always loved photos.

When I was in school, I was a dancer on the pom-pon squad. We spent the weekends in the winter competing in dance competitions.

I would get a roll of film before every trip and fill it up by the time we pulled back into the parking lot. Granted, not every photo was a “keeper,” but I was determined to not miss a moment. If that meant spending a few extra dollars on prints, then so be it.

It was worth it when I pulled out those photos and began reliving those moments frozen in time.

Family photos are also precious moments frozen in time. As I grow, I am learning that these are some of the greatest heirlooms a family can pass on to their children. From portraits to pictures of everyday life, photos of cherished moments and loved ones are priceless.

That is what Portray Photo is about.

My desire is to capture those priceless moments the way you see them and remember them. No fancy editing tricks up my sleeve here or hours spent on the computer doctoring the image.

What you see and experience in those moments will be what is preserved in picture. My hope is that I can capture it in a beautiful way that will simply add to the experience of remembering.

It would be my honor to capture your precious moments and give you a memento to cherish for years to come. If you would like to know more about pricing and services, please contact me at ashley@portrayphoto.com or (615) 807-0293.
